THE MISSION
Times of Refreshing Ministries, Inc., (TORM) is a Bible, Christian book and Helps (commentaries, dictionaries, concordances, etc.) recycling ministry. TORM collects and recycles new and used Bibles, and Christian literature to ship to missionaries and pastors in Third World Countries. TORM also distributes to prisons, prison ministries, inner-city ministries, truckstops and congregational outreach ministries. Since 1997, our volunteers have shipped and distributed more than 332,000 Bibles, 139,000 Christian books, and over 1 million pieces of Christian literature to 49 countries, prisons, and other ministries.
THE NEED
85% of all Bibles are printed in English for 9% of the world's population. English is a second language for millions. Many Bibles TORM ship are used to teach English lessons in addition to Bible studies. Millions of Christians worldwide do not have a Bible. Thousands of people are coming to Christ each day in Third World Countries. Pastors and missionaries need Bibles and Christian literature to reach the lost and to disciple new believers. It will be years before some of these people will ever have a Bible. The need is overwhelming.
